Strategic Growth in Action Lauren Chisholm, M.Ed, MSL Board DIRECTOR
An educational leader, curriculum strategist, and wellness advocate with nearly 20 years of experience advancing equity, instructional excellence, and community empowerment. A proud alumna of Howard and Georgetown Universities, she has led transformative learning initiatives across Washington, DC, and beyond.
As a senior nonprofit leader, Lauren has overseen large-scale curriculum rollouts, coached hundreds of educators, and championed the design of equity-centered initiatives. Her work uplifts culturally responsive teaching and inclusive practices, especially for Black communities.
She has partnered with organizations like the Gates Foundation and the Children’s Defense Fund to develop systems that support early childhood educators, address children’s social-emotional needs, and amplify the voices of underrepresented individuals. At the core of her work is a commitment to Black wellness, healing, and educational liberation.
